AT&T Executive Addresses Southern Miss College of Business Faculty

The following is a news release from The University of Southern Mississippi.

College of Business faculty members at the University of Southern Mississippi got their fall 2016 semester kick-started on Monday, Aug. 22 with a special presentation from Paul Harper, regional sales manager for AT&T in North Carolina.

Classes for the fall semester officially begin Wednesday, Aug. 24 on the Hattiesburg and Gulf Park campuses.

Harper, a Pearl native and Southern Miss alum, attended the London School of Economics where he graduated with a degree in International Marketing and Management. Upon graduation, he took a position with Information Resources Inc., a marketing research company.

Shortly thereafter, he went to work for BellSouth Mobility/Cingular/AT&T where he has been for the past 22 years. He has managed every sales channel that exists within the company and currently oversees the Authorized Retail, AT&T Retail, and National Retail channels in the Charlotte, North Carolina area.

    Fans were waiting in the parking lot Wednesday outside Hattiesburg High School for tickets to go on sale for the 5A South State Championship Friday night. The Tigers are hosting the Laurel Tornadoes in a I-59 showdown.  The game, a repeat of the "Lil' Brown Jug" game will give the Tornadoes the chance at revenge, after Hattiesburg won the rivalry game 20-14 in August.
