WAYNESBORO, MS (WDAM) -

A special Economic Development meeting is going to be held tomorrow in Waynesboro.

The meeting will be held at the Wayne County Center at 10 a.m.

During the meeting, an announcement is expected to be made by an unnamed plastics manufacturer that’s opening its third location in Mississippi. The firm also has plants in South Carolina and Alabama.

Governor Phil Bryant is expected to speak at the event, along with MDA executive director Glenn McCullough.

After negotiations that lasted over a year, The Firm is looking to employ 33 employees within the first two years and grow from there.

WDAM will be there and will bring you more information as it comes along.
