Felony warrant issued for man accused of growing marijuana

JASPER COUNTY, MS (WDAM) -

A felony warrant has been issued by authorities for a man accused of manufacturing marijuana in Jasper County.

Chester Terrell is being sought by Jasper County authorities.

On Tuesday afternoon, Jasper County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a domestic disturbance on County Road 8 in Vossburg.

After further investigation, deputies found multiple marijuana plants inside the home and called narcotic investigators to the scene.

The narcotic agents discovered a trail behind the home that led to more marijuana plants near a wooded area. According to authorities, they found a total of 88 marijuana plants.

Terrell fled the scene before law enforcement arrived, according to JCSD.
