Authorities arrest man wanted for vehicle theft in Jones Co.

JONES COUNTY, MS (WDAM) -

Authorities have arrested a man wanted for vehicle theft in Jones County. 

According to the Jones County Sheriff's Department, investigators were looking for Brandon Wade Parish, 32 and a stolen vehicle. The vehicle has also been found. 

Tuscaloosa County, Alabama had a warrant out for Parrish’s arrest for the stolen vehicle. 

He was also wanted for questioning of a commercial burglary in Jones County as well as a warrant for failure to appear, according to JCSD.

    Following a school-record 55 wins and run that ended in an 8-7 loss in the NJCAA national championship, Jones County Junior College softball is eager to open the 2018 season on February 3. Coming that close to the school’s first national title serves as motivation enough for the Lady Bobcats. Regardless, expectations are always high for coach Chris Robinson’s teams – JCJC is a combined 105-12 the last two seasons.
