HATTIESBURG, MS (WDAM) - One down and possibly two more to go for Tori Bowie at the Rio Olympics. The former University of Southern Mississippi track star took silver Saturday in the women's 100 meter dash.
Bowie finished with a time of 10.83 seconds. Elaine Thompson from Jamaica won gold with a time of 10.71 seconds. Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce, also from Jamaica got the bronze, finishing with a time of 10.86
Bowie's run at the Olympics isn't over. She will also compete in the 200 and 4X100 relay.
Also, Southern Miss' Mariam Kromah finished fifth in her 400 meter heat.
