JONES COUNTY, MS (WDAM) - Bond is set for a Laurel mother and father who are charged with child abuse after their newborn baby tested positive for meth.
The hospital where the baby was born contacted the Jones County Sheriff's Department.
Deputies arrested 26-year old Sara Pace, who admitted to them that she had smoked crystal meth while pregnant. Pace went on to say that the baby's father, Kevin Hall had provided the drugs to her throughout her pregnancy.
Bond was set at $10,000 for each parent Tuesday morning.
