Wayne Co. man arrested for allegedly manufacturing marijuana

WAYNE COUNTY, MS (WDAM) - A Wayne County man was arrested for allegedly growing marijuana at his home.

According to the Wayne County Sheriff's Department, Albert Powe was taken into custody after they received a tip.

Officials said they found a trail behind his house located on Myrtle Lane that led to a wooded area, and that's where they found nearly ten marijuana plants.

Powe was charged with manufacturing marijuana.
