Jonathan Marshall

Jonathan Marshall was born in Philadelphia and raised in Delaware. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Mass Communication from Lincoln (PA) University and a Master’s of Science in Broadcast and Digital Journalism from Syracuse University.

Prior to working at WDAM, Jonathan has written for the Abilene (TX) Reporter-News, Philadelphia Daily News and Wilmington (DE) News Journal. He’s also co-hosted his own basketball radio show for a CBS affiliate in Texas. Jonathan has almost covered it all from Texas high school football, the NBA draft, team tennis and the rodeo.

    Southern Miss baseball will be missing four key contributors when the its season opens against Mississippi State on February 16. Hayden Roberts, Taylor Braley, Kirk McCarty and Dylan Burdeaux wrapped up their first minor league seasons in the fall. Roberts, a 34th round MLB draftee of the Colorado Rockies, struck out 45 batters in 21 games with the Grand Junction Rockies.
