HATTIESBURG, MS (WDAM) -

Before handling business on the field for Hattiesburg High this fall, in what will be his final high school season, Jordan Murphy made a decision Thursday that will impact his future for the next few years.

The wide receiver has verbally committed to Tennessee following a visit to the school.

The 6-foot-1, 168-pound Murphy is ranked 64th on 247 Sports' Class of 2017 wide receiver rankings. Murphy has also drawn interest from the likes of Alabama, LSU, Mississippi State, Ole Miss and Southern Miss.
