HATTIESBURG, MS (WDAM) -

A jury found a Hattiesburg man guilty of second-degree murder and aggravated assault Thursday.

James Clark was the third person accused of murdering Matthew Campbell at a Foxfire Drive apartment back in May of 2014.

Judge Bob Helfrich sentenced Clark to serve 40 years for the murder and 15 years for the assault to be served consecutively.

Two other men charged in the crime, Timothy Jordan and Jarvis Holder already pleaded in the case.

Jordan's mother and sister were arrested in the murder and both pleaded guilty to accessory after the fact.

All will be sentenced following the trial.
