2 sought in Hub City armed robbery

HATTIESBURG, MS (WDAM) -

Hattiesburg police are asking for the public’s help in solving an armed robbery in the Hub City.

According to Hattiesburg Lt. Jon Traxler, on Friday July 8, two men arrived in what is believed to be a Mercury Grand Marquis and robbed another at 5729 Highway 49.

The suspects were described as being in their mid 20s and one had his hair in short twists.

    Following a school-record 55 wins and run that ended in an 8-7 loss in the NJCAA national championship, Jones County Junior College softball is eager to open the 2018 season on February 3. Coming that close to the school’s first national title serves as motivation enough for the Lady Bobcats. Regardless, expectations are always high for coach Chris Robinson’s teams – JCJC is a combined 105-12 the last two seasons.
