JASPER COUNTY, MS (WDAM) - A suspect has been arrested in Jasper County late Saturday into early Sunday morning.
The suspect, identified as Bryan Joseph Colligan, was arrested for felony possession of a controlled substance and possession of paraphernalia.
After receiving information from concerned citizens in Louin about a suspicious vehicle with three unknown subjects inside, Lt. Chris McCullough, Deputy Larry Hayes and Deputy Kirk Thornton with the Jasper County sheriff's Department were able to locate the vehicle.
Upon making contact with the subjects and questioning them, 14.5 grams of meth was located in Colligan's front pocket. Colligan was arrested and transported to the Jasper County Jail and is awaiting bond.
He will have his initial appearance Monday with Judge Marvin Jones.
