HATTIESBURG, MS (WDAM) - People say basketball never stops, and this is certainly true in the college game where recruiting is non-stop.
While The University of Southern Mississippi men's basketball squad sweats through summer workouts, the coaching staff is putting in work on the recruiting trail.
The Golden Eagles added another player to the 2016-17 edition Wednesday with the signing of small forward Josh Conley.
Conley, who graduated from Inglewood High School in 2015, played for LaGrange (Georgia) Sounds Doctrine Academy for a prep school year. He originally committed to Utah in the fall.
"We are happy to have Josh join our program," coach Doc Sadler said in a release. "He really excels on the defensive end, while on offense he is a great passer and is very capable of knocking down the open jumper."
Conley stands 6 feet, 7 inches and checks in at 185 pounds.
