JCJC’s Clarke County Center offers welding class

The following is a news release from Jones County Junior College

Jones County Junior College’s Center in Stonewall will be offering a non-credit welding course beginning July 11, 2016. To accommodate schedules, prospective students will meet two nights of their choice, Monday through Thursday, from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m.Students who complete the 8-week non-credit course will earn a certificate of completed hours.

Topics covered will include SMAW (stick) welding, Oxyfuel cutting, as well as basic steel fabrication and layout. Advanced topics will be covered as needed. The cost is $125.
