JONES COUNTY, MS (WDAM) -

Two people involved in a weekend Jones County hostage situation appeared in court Tuesday afternoon.

Daniel Hodge and Megan Fuentes were each arrested on multiple charges after they held Hodge's parents and their 4-year-old child hostage at a home Sunday night.

Hodge was charged with felonious child abuse and given a $150,000 bond. His bond was revoked because he was already out on bond for a previous charge.

Fuentes was charged with felonious child abuse and was given a $50,000. She was also charged with aggravated assault, domestic violence and was given an addition $50,000 bond.

She also tacked on two additional charges of simple assault on a police officer after she threw her feces and urine at an officer on Monday from her jail cell. She was given an additional $50,000 bond for those charges.

Though soft-spoken, Steven Anderson hits hard. A "violent" runner as Southern Miss teammate Keon Howard describes him, perhaps Anderson is making up for all those years spent at quarterback. "Steven runs like he doesn't want to be hit no more,” Howard said.
