JONES COUNTY, MS (WDAM) - Two individuals were taken into custody Thursday in connection with helping escaped inmate Kenneth William Graham.
Authorities said Robert Levi Rowell and Cynthia Graham are accused of helping Kenneth Graham after his initial escape.
Investigators said they were in contact with the family of Kenneth Graham concerning his escape, and they reported that they knew where he was and would turn him in.
After leading authorities on a wild goose chase, Kenneth Graham was never surrendered to law enforcement.
Through further investigations, the Jones County Sheriff's Department found that both Rowell and Cynthia Graham were with Kenneth Graham at some point on the Mississippi Gulf Coast early Thursday morning.
Later that day, both were taken into custody and charged with aiding and abetting an escapee.
Graham and Rowell went before Jones County Justice Court Judge Billie Graham, who set their bonds at $15,000 each.
Authorities are still looking for Kenneth Graham.
He is 28 and is 5 feet, 9 inches tall and weighs approximately 165 lbs and has brown hair.
