CAMP SHELBY, MS (WDAM) -

Soldiers with the 177th Armored Brigade stationed at Camp Shelby along with active duty and reserve partners participated in a Multi-echelon Integrated Brigade Training Exercise.

Over 3,000 Mississippi Guardsmen from the 155th Armored Brigade Combat Team took part in the training at Fort Hood, Texas.

Soliders from the 177th played a crucial role in making sure the 155th combat team is fully prepared for the battlefield.

"You've got to be snap-linked in with  leaders so we can share information with them, they can bounce information off of us and we are a true trusted resource that helps them build training readiness," said Col. Brandon Robbins.
