MARION COUNTY, MS (WDAM) -

TL Wallace Construction and the Marion County Development Partnership held a Grand Re-Opening and ribbon cutting at the new T.L. Wallace Construction complex at 4025 Highway 35 on Friday.

The construction company recently moved to the former Baker Hughes location on Highway 35 and now covers a total of 35 acres.

The newly constructed headquarters houses Commercial, Heavy Civil, Utilities, and Safety Divisions.

"This is a great honor and milestone celebrating the new headquarters.   Me and my family thank you for all the years we have worked together.  We can’t do anything without one another but we can make all things happen if we pull together in unity and love for one another," said Tommy Wallace. "I want to especially thank Tommy and Jim Duff because they have stood by me through everything and I will never be able to thank them enough."

Secretary of State Delbert Hoseman was the guest speaker at the grand reopening.

Wallace Construction was purchased by Jim and Tommy Duff in 2012. The corporation originally started as a paving company in 1960.
