One Pine Belt restaurant cited by health department for violation

WAYNESBORO, MS (WDAM) - According to the Mississippi Health Department, one popular franchise eatery in the Pine Belt has been cited for a repeated violation.

The Huddle House on Azalea Drive in Waynesboro had a recent inspection on May 26 and served the restaurant with a "C" rating.

The "C" rating was received for not having accessible hand washing facilities, and it is a repeat offense.

Eight days later, there was a follow-up inspection and the problem was corrected on site and brought Huddle House up to its current "B" rating.

Even though it was corrected, hand washing is an issue the restaurant is familiar with.

During an inspection in November 2015, Huddle House received another "C" rating because hands weren't being properly cleaned and washed.

A follow-up inspection done six days later found the same problem.
