HATTIESBURG, MS (WDAM) -

After losing the first game in the first round to Rice, Louisiana Tech claws its way back into contention with a walk-off homerun in extra innings to beat Florida Atlantic 5-4.

In the bottom of the 10th inning with one out, Cody Daigle decided he wants another shot at Rice.

Daigle sent the ball out of Pete Taylor Park, securing the bulldogs at least one more game.

Louisiana Tech will play Rice Saturday at 9 a.m.

This will be the fifth time in seven days that these two teams have met.

If Rice wins, they advance to the championship game.

La. Tech will have to beat Rice twice more to make it to the championship game on Sunday.
