LAUREL, MS (WDAM) - You have only two weeks left to see dozens of works by renowned glass sculptor Dale Chihuly at the Lauren Rogers Museum of Art.
An exhibit titled, "Chihuly Venetians" will be on display through June 5.
The exhibit opened on Jan. 30.
It features about 70 glass vases and other objects. Several of his paintings are also included.
"Over the four month period, we've had just a terrific turnout, people from all over the world, literally, had a chance to come to Laurel and Jones County and see this particular exhibit," said George Bassi, museum director. "So, we're really pleased to be able to showcase his work, because he is so well known."
The next big exhibit opens in a couple of weeks.
It's a display of black and white photos from nature photographer Clyde Butcher.
