HATTIESBURG, MS (WDAM) -

The St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital in Memphis received a $10,000 donation from the Hattiesburg Area Association of Realtors Thursday.

The money raised during an annual crawfish boil was presented during a luncheon at Southern Oaks.

The group also donated some household items to the Abbie Rogers Civitan Camp.

"As realtors, we feel it is important to give back to the community,” said Natalie Wiggins of Hattiesburg Area Association of Realtors. “St. Jude’s is located so close to Mississippi (and) so many people are familiar with it and its mission to make cancer treatments affordable for families. Not even affordable but for free.”

The Area Association of Realtors hold these luncheons quarterly for its members.
