More than 1,000 graduate during annual commencement at PRCC

POPLARVILLE, MS (WDAM) -

More than 1,000 students received a degree or certificate during an annual commencement exercise at Pearl River Community College Friday.

Graduates got either associate in arts degrees or certificates of proficiency in various career fields during the ceremony at the Marvin R. White Coliseum.

The graduation address was given by Karen Moore, a 1985 graduate of PRCC, who is CEO of the Baldwin County EMC. 

That is the largest electric cooperative in Alabama.
