    A shooting occurred in Lamar County early Saturday morning.  According to Lamar county Sheriff Danny Rigel, the shooting happened around 3:30 a.m. near Shears Road, located behind Lowe's.

LAMAR COUNTY, MS (WDAM) -

A woman charged with murder in connection to a weekend deadly shooting was denied bond in court Tuesday. 

Breanna Conerly of Columbia was charged with the murder of 24-year-old Iesha Magee. 

Conerly made her initial appearance in court Tuesday where a judge denied her bond.

Lamar County Sheriff Danny Rigel said the shooting happened around 3:30 a.m.Saturday morning near Shears Road, located behind Lowe's.
