A Perry County man is behind bars, facing residential burglary charges after a morning incident.
Daniel Roderick, 29 of Ovett, was arrested in Jones County this morning by Perry and Jones County authorities.
“This morning we got a call of a burglary in progress in the north end of the county, a witness happened to see a car and get a tag and we were able to follow that lead,” Perry County Sheriff Mitch Nobles said.
According to Nobles, Jones and Perry County deputies worked together and found the suspect and brought him in for questioning.
Roderick was charged with one count of residential burglary and booked in the Perry County Jail.
