HATTIESBURG, MS (WDAM) - The University of Southern Mississippi's College of Health is making plans to occupy the former home of the College of Business.
Michael Forster, Ph.D., dean of the College of Health, said the move into Joseph Greene Hall should be complete in the fall of 2017, after an $11 million renovation.
Three academic programs, including social work, nutrition and food systems and the Department of Public Health will relocate to Greene Hall.
The School of Kinesiology and the departments of Speech and Hearing Sciences and Medical Laboratory Sciences will remain in their current locations.
The College of Health will share some space in Greene Hall with the Department of Criminal Justice.
