HATTIESBURG, MS (WDAM) - In the past few years, William Carey University has shown tremendous growth. Not only are enrollment numbers up, but so are the number of buildings on campus.
In the past few years, the school has opened up a new chapel for students and a new business building. The university also plans to renovate the Clinton gymnasium as part of the three projects set to begin on campus.
"The school has a lot of exciting things going on right now," university President Dr. Tommy King said.
He added that the university is "growing into the community," and that the school is "trying to be a good neighbor to the community."
It is unknown at this time when the projects will be completed.
