Over 65 bikers gathered together in Laurel for the annual “Cruising for St. Jude” event.
The Laurel chapter of the Epsilon Sigma Alpha International raised money for the hospital by selling T-shirts and patches for the bikers. The group traveled the Archusa Creek Water Park in Quitman together. Before the bikers took off, they prayed for a safe journey and for the kids at St. Jude.
“They are just a great bunch of folks that come out every year, and we have new folks every year, and today is a beautiful day,” said Chairman Karen Blackledge. “It’s beautiful weather for a motorcycle ride.”
This marks the 15th year the Laurel chapter has put together the event.
