SEMINARY, MS (WDAM) -

Have you met #SeminaryRooster? Residents can't stop talking about their newest celebrity.

#SeminaryRooster has become a household name over the past three months. The rooster moved into town back in February and sticks to a strict visiting schedule.

“We kind of thought somebody dropped him off, but I don’t know. He just found his way here; he loves the town just like most of us do. We have loved having him and it kind of makes it lighthearted every day. It gives us something to look forward to when we come to town." said a resident of Seminary.

According to the Seminary Police Department, who posted about the bird's fame on their Facebook page, #SeminaryRooster can be seen early in the morning on the Seminary school campus. After he visits with the students, he heads to the bakery for lunch.

Eventually he will stop by the barber shop to say hello, then ends his day at City Hall.

The Seminary Police Department is kindly asking motorists to drive safely through town so that the rooster can cross the streets.

"He always looks both ways before crossing the street but he is a bit slow," the post read.

If you have pictures of the rooster, share them with us by sending the pictures to pics@wdam.com.
