JONES COUNTY, MS (WDAM) -

A Jones County man faces charges after authorities said he attacked his mother, grandmother and girlfriend.

Sheriff's deputies arrested David Payne over the weekend.
His arrest came after deputies were called to a home for a disturbance call.

"A subject came out of the house with what the caller advised was a Halloween mask,” Maj. Jamie Tedford with the Jones County Sheriff’s Department said. “The grandmother was actually choked in the lift chair, and was thrown on the ground, by Payne, allegedly. He actually supposedly shot at the girlfriend and then ran over his mother (with his car) on Old Progress Road."

Payne is charged with two counts of aggravated domestic assault and one count of aggravated assault.
He is in jail on a $90,000 bond.
