Car accident in Jones County sends woman to hospital

JONES COUNTY, MS (WDAM) -

A single vehicle accident sent one woman to a local hospital Sunday evening.

Sandersville Fire chief, John Bounds, said the driver lost control and the vehicle flipped multiple times near mile marker 104 in Jones County.

The driver of the car had to be extricated from the vehicle with the help of Powers, Sandersville and Jones County fire departments.

 ASAP ambulance services rushed the woman to South Central Regional Medical Center shortly after rescued.
