Homeowner Dale McDonald said he left his home for about 10 minutes to go pay his utility bill. When he returned, he noticed a lot of smoke coming out of the windows.

McDonald rushed inside to rescue his seven dogs that were trapped inside the residence, according to the news release. He was only able to save three of them.

McDonald had no insurance for the home, according to reports.
