COLUMBIA, MS (WDAM) -

A Columbia 2-year-old is representing the state of Mississippi and The United States at the Baby Miss World Pageant.

Saedi Grace Rawls, daughter of Columbia residents Daniel and Marricia Fisher-Rawls, took home the Baby Miss United States National title at the pageant in Houston, Texas.

Over 7500 entries were narrowed down to the 68 contestants who competed for the crown, according to a news release issued but the pageant.

Among the  trophies Saedi received, she took home 1st Place in the Princess Competition, 1st Place in Personality, 1st Place for Pink Princess and 1st Place Overall Fashion Award.

The 2-year-old received many prizes including a $1000 scholarship, a trip to Disney World with a VIP Tour of Disney World, a trip to Cancun, Mexico as a special guest of the Baby Miss Mexico Pageant, a ride in the Krewe of Little Rascals Mardi Gras parade and will be presented to the King and Queen at the Mardi Gras Ball in February during the 2017 New Orleans Mardi Gras celebration, along with a Louis Vuitton purse, custom luggage, a 16X20 portrait, and a gift of Usborne Books.

Saedi will represent the United States in the International Baby Miss World Pageant in December, competing with children from around the world.

The pageant is a 100% natural competition, according to the release.

Rules and regulations include no make-up, no hair pieces, no fake teeth, no spray tanning, and absolutely no go-go juice of any kind. Unlike any other children’s pageant, there is no modeling or talent involved.

Contestants are judged on natural beauty, personality and attire, competing in Western Wear, 1950’s Attire, Minnie Mouse Pink Polka Dot, Disney Princess and Party Dress and Costume representing their country, according to the release.
