With runners on second and third, the Cowgirls used a sacrifice bunt to score a second run. After a walk, MSU executed a double steal to take a 4-0 lead.
McNeese added a pair of runs in the final inning. Piancastelli doubled to right center field to start the inning. The following batter drew a free pass and MSU's Morgan Catron doubled to left center field, scoring the two runners on base.
