MISSISSIPPI (WDAM) -

The State House wants to introduce a firing squad as a method of execution if officials decide lethal injection is too expensive or unavailable.

The House amended and passed Senate Bill 22-37, and it goes back to the Senate for more work.

The bill also makes secret the names of prison employees at executions and the pharmacy providing the drugs.

First Amendment advocates said it restrains free speech, but supporters said it protects those people from harassment.
