SEMINARY, MS (WDAM) -

Seminary Police have been noticing a new trend in narcotics lately.

Over the weekend SPD Criminal Interdiction Unit seized a large quantity of marijuana along with THC lollipops, and a device used to inhale THC wax.

THC has various psychological and physiological effects on the human body.

In large enough doses, THC can induce auditory and visual hallucinations. Acute effects while under the influence can include both euphoria and anxiety.

SPD is warning parents that this is a rising trend, and that they need to be aware that the substance is in the community.
