PINE BELT (WDAM) - A Volunteer Recovery Center will open Monday at 9 a.m. at the Volunteer House on Buschman Street in Hattiesburg, according to United Way of Southeast Mississippi.

Volunteers interested in helping with flood cleanup can go to the Volunteer House next week between 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. and receive a safety briefing before being assigned an area to clean up.

The center is also asking for clean-up supplies that can also be delivered to the Volunteer House. For the full list, click here.

Also, if anyone is interested in another cleanup, the United Methodist Committee on Relief (UMCOR) will conduct Muck Out training at Jackie Dole Sherrill Community on Monday at 1 p.m.
