GREENE COUNTY, MS (WDAM) - McLain School in Greene County will remained closed this week after flood waters damaged parts of the area, according to Superintendent Charles Breland.
All other Greene County schools will be open as scheduled.
No regular route buses will run, but Breland said a shuttle bus for high school students will be available at McLain Fast Stop/gas station. The shuttle will leave at 7:25 a.m. and return by 3:20 p.m.
According to Breland, parents will need to provide transportation to and from the shuttle and students who are unable to get to the high school may receive an excused absence.
