According to Lamar County Sheriff Danny Rigel, around noon, the Lamar Park Water & Sewer Association in the 2100 block of Oak Grove Road was robbed at gunpoint.

“The suspect was described as a black male, wearing a black jacket, black jeans, roughly 6 feet tall, possibly 175 pounds and wearing sunglasses,” Rigel said.

Rigel added the suspect was seen getting into a silver or grey mid-sized car, possibly a Chevy Impala.

“He parked behind the business complex and when he robbed the business, he exited the building and ran outside and jumped in the car and fled the scene,” Rigel said.
