(The following is a press release from Laurel Little Theatre. Visit www.LaurelLittleTheatre.com for more details on the camp.)
LLT Kids' Camp registration period is now open, and continues until the camp max is reached and registration is closed about a month from now. Absolute deadline to register is May 10th (if the camp hasn't filled and closed before then) - that allows time for all materials to arrive to the students.
The annual camp always fills up in advance and it gets closed off at some point, so make sure you get your student registered soon so you don't hear the dreaded "sorry, but we're full."
The registration will be done on-line this year. You can find a link to that page from the LLT website LaurelLittleTheatre.com
If you have any problems with the on-line registration, drop a line to LLTLaurelMS@aol.com or camp director Angie Hodge at AngieDHodge@yahoo.com.
Camp is open to students that will be entering grades 1 through 9 next fall.
Director Katelyn Bryant will hold auditions for a few of the lead roles on Sunday, April 10th, at 3PM and on Monday, April 11th at 530PM. Auditions are open only for registered students. Some supporting roles will not be cast until the first day of camp, but all leads will be decided from this early audition. Everyone registered will be in the production.
The students will attend ten days of workshops and performances running May 26th - June 5. The first seven days of workshops and rehearsals are in the afternoons from 1PM to 5PM (including over the weekend)
And then performances are June 2nd-3rd at 7:30PM, June 4th at 4PM and 7:30PM and on June 5th at 2PM.
