PETAL, MS (WDAM) -

The North Forrest County home of a Petal pastor was destroyed by a fire Tuesday.

The James Rose home on Newell Sullivan Road went up in flames around noon.

No one was injured, but four family members lived in the two-story house.

Forrest County fire officials on scene said the blaze began in a laundry room, but they aren't sure what caused it.

Rose is the pastor of Woodlawn Baptist Church in Petal.

He had no insurance on the home.

North Forrest, Rawls Springs, Macedonia and Moselle fire departments responded.
