HATTIESBURG, MS (WDAM) -

Hattiesburg police are investigating a scene where shots were fired Friday afternoon.

No one was injured in the shooting that happened just before 2 p.m. on North 39th avenue at Alpine Village Apartments.

Multiple shell casings were found and collected by the HPD Crime Scene Unit in the parking lot of the apartments.

One vehicle, a suburban, was struck by at least one bullet, but no injures were reported. The vehicle stopped down the street from where the shooting occurred.

No one is in custody at this time.
