HATTIESBURG, MS (WDAM) -
A road resurfacing project will soon be underway in the Hattiesburg-Forrest County Industrial Park.
J. M. Tatum Industrial Drive will soon have a fresh layer of asphalt, thanks to funds from a State Aid Project.
The overall cost of the project is just under $1.2 million. Board of Supervisors President David Hogan said the road is in need of improvement and thanks to this State Aid Project some 3.7 miles of roadway will be repaved.
"This is a good example of how we are trying to take care of the existing businesses that are here employing our people and we want to show them that we care about them and we want to provide them good infrastructure so that they can get their products out to market,” Hogan said.
