WSJ report: FBI raids show possible link to Favre, pain cream

PINE BELT - A national newspaper linked the Pine Belt to an investigation involving over half a billion dollars of health care fraud.

The Wall Street Journal published an article citing an FBI raid that Seven on Your Side first broke on Jan. 21.

The article included names like retired NFL quarterback Brett Favre, who was a pitchman for a pain cream, which the article claimed to be linked to the investigation.

The investigation spans multiple states and resulted in millions in assets being seized by federal authorities.

At this time, no arrests have been made, and no federal indictments have been served, or filed in federal court.
