Firefighters successfully saved the residence; however, both storage barns were a total loss.

Units from the Jones County Sheriff's Department and Jones County Fire Coordinator Dan McKenna also responded. No cause of the fire was determined. Jones County Fire Investigator Sgt. Scott Gable will be investigating the scene on Thursday.

According to Chancellor, all volunteer fire units were back in service by 11:00 p.m. with no injuries reported to firefighters.
