The Hattiesburg Lady Tigers are on a 8 game winning streak after defeating South Jones 60-37 Tuesday night.
South Jones Head Coach Sherri Cooley said she was disappointed in her teams' defensive effort. "It takes more than talent, we did not rebound well and we did not defend well."
Hattiesburg improves their overall record to 17-2 and they remain undefeated in conference play.
"I knew Hattiesburg was going to be a tough game for us. They are a very good team and well coached," Cooley said. "They have the size on the inside and they have good guards."
The Braves knew they were going to have to defend Senior Tamia Stinson.
"We had nobody that could stop her penetration to the basket."
