Yuengling now available in Mississippi

POTTSVILLE, PA -

This is a news release from D.G. Yuengling and Son, Inc.

D.G. Yuengling & Son, Inc., America’s Oldest Brewery, starts rolling out in Mississippi this week.

Yuengling Brewery is a fifth generation, American owned and family operated company that started in Pottsville, PA in 1829.

“As America's Oldest Brewery, we're excited to be able to grow into new markets.” said Richard "Dick" Yuengling, President & Owner of D.G. Yuengling & Son, Inc. “Our success and growth is a tribute to our great fans, as well as the hard work of our employees and wholesalers.”

Mississippi is the eighteenth state to distribute Yuengling products and will be rolling out with its three core brands:

  • Yuengling Traditional Lager: a rich amber lager with well-balanced taste and distinct character, this flagship beer delivers the quality and taste that rivals any craft beer today at an affordable price;
  • Yuengling Light Lager: a 99 calorie offering with the full-bodied, gratifying flavor akin to the flagship Traditional Lager;
  • Yuengling Black & Tan: a satisfyingly smooth blend of dark-brewed Porter and a regional favorite, Premium beer.
  • America’s Oldest Brewery additionally brews a year-round craft-centric portfolio, the Brewer’s Collection, which is comprised of its seasonal offerings and two Heritage Brands, Lord Chesterfield Ale and Dark-Brewed Porter, both brewed since 1829.  Mississippi will see its first of this collection in April with the release of Summer Wheat Traditional Weizen followed by Oktoberfest in the fall and IPL in the winter.

Yuengling is proud to announce the four wholesaler partners chosen to distribute Yuengling products in Mississippi: Southern Beverage Company, Rex Distributing Company, A&B Distributing Company and Southwest Distributors.
