The front porch of the home next door to where the victim was found had blood stains smeared across the door and wall.

"A female from the scene was also taken by ambulance for being under the influence who is believed to be involved," McLemore said. "She is under police supervision at Forrest General."

The person that prompted the burglary in progress call was allegedly involved with the stabbing, according to McLemore.

He added there is no danger of a burglary suspect at this time, but the investigation is still ongoing.

According to McLemore the incident appears to be domestic related, but the scene is still under the investigation.
