All lanes open on US 49 at Mississippi 590 in Covington County

COVINGTON COUNTY, MS (WDAM) -

Damage from early morning storms are causing traffic delays in Seminary. 

According to Covington County Emergency Management Director Greg Sanford, all lanes are now open on US 49 at Mississippi 590. 

Emergency management confirmed a roof was torn off of a home in Seminary on Ray Harvey Road. Two houses on Watts road were damaged, according to emergency management officials. 

A firework stand was destroyed, slinging debris across Highway 49. 

Many traffic signs were ripped from the ground, and scattered along the shoulder of the highway as well. 

No injuries have been reported.
