Joe Sciortino Joe Sciortino

It is bowl week for Southern Miss as they meet Washington this Saturday in the Heart of Dallas Bowl.

Our own Taylor Halsey will be in Dallas to cover all the team starting Dec. 23.

As you have probably heard, we are giving over control of the WDAM Instagram account to the football team, so you can stay up to date on everything that is going on there.

You can also follow along on Facebook or Twitter. We are very excited to be a part of bring this story to you and we would not miss it.

We are immensely proud of the Golden Eagles and what they have accomplished this season and wish Coach Monken and the entire team and coaching staff the very best, as they put Southern Miss in the national spotlight.

For that we should all be very proud.

This is today’s Viewpoint.
